Overview

TRONSEC ("we", "the project") is a client-side web application for TRON blockchain security analysis. We are committed to minimal data collection and maximum transparency.

What we don't collect

  • No user accounts or registration
  • No wallet addresses you scan (unless you voluntarily submit a scam report)
  • No private keys or seed phrases — ever
  • No personal identification information
  • No analytics tracking cookies or advertising pixels

Local storage

The app may store the following data in your browser's local storage or session storage:

  • Theme preference (dark/light)
  • Cached scan results for faster re-display
  • Language preference
  • Temporary scan input when navigating from the landing page

You can clear all cached data using the "Purge Cache" button in any app module, or by clearing your browser storage.

Third-party services

When you use TRONSEC, your browser makes direct requests to:

  • TronGrid — TRON blockchain data
  • TronScan — Address and transaction metadata
  • VirusTotal — URL reputation scanning (phishing module only)
  • CDN providers — Font and library delivery (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, unpkg)

These services have their own privacy policies. TRONSEC does not proxy or log these requests on any backend server.

Scam reports

If you submit a scam report through the app, the address or URL you report may be shared with community blocklists. This is voluntary and initiated by you.
